Student Support Programs

DSF wants every college student to successfully complete a college degree or certificate. Below are some helpful resources and programs available at RRCC.

  • TRIO Student Support Services (SSS) – dedicated to creating a supportive learning environment that fosters academic excellence of program participants. SSS provides participants with opportunities for academic development, support with college requirements, and motivation toward successful completion of their educational goals. The SSS program services are free to low-income students, first generation college students, and individuals with disabilities.
  • Accessibility Services – mission is to remove barriers for students with disabilities to provide equal access to opportunities at Red Rocks Community College. Accessibility Services supports faculty and staff in creating an environment that facilitates learning for students with disabilities.
  • First Year Experience – mission of the First Year Experience is to foster engagement and persistence for students new to the college experience in order to help them complete their academic goals.
  • The Hub: Center for Engagement and Innovation – RRCC’s home for experiential learning opportunities. Programs in The Hub provide applied opportunities for students to engage in a different type of learning for unmatched success in their next stage of education or employment.
