DENVER – This week, the Denver Scholarship Foundation (DSF) received generous donations from Bank of America and Hammersmith Management that will benefit DSF’s college access and success programs.

Denver – The Denver Scholarship Foundation will hold its seventh annual Ed Gala, presented by Mike and Patty Starzer, on Thursday evening, October 29, 2015 at the Hyatt Regency Denver at the Colorado Convention Center.  In 2014, the gala raised $1.5 million in support of scholarships and college access services for economically disadvantaged high school students enrolled in the Denver Public Schools system.

Western State Colorado University Offers New Scholarships to Denver Students

GUNNISON, CO – Western State Colorado University is partnering with the Denver Scholarship Foundation to waive all tuition and fees for 25 high school students from Denver every year. The new program, which is being offered for the fall 2014 incoming freshmen class, will make college possible for high school students from Denver Public Schools who may not have otherwise been able to afford it.

United Launch Alliance is making college possible for Denver Students

United Launch Alliance (ULA) employees are helping Denver Public Schools students picture themselves as future rocket scientists, engineers, business managers and project managers who will launch future astronauts and satellites aboard the rockets of tomorrow. 


Headquartered in Centennial, Colo., ULA is the nation’s premier rocket launching company. ULA employees volunteered their time today during a “speed mentoring” program at George Washington High School – just one of several planned events that are part of a partnership between ULA and the Denver Scholarship Foundation. 


ULA recently gave the Denver Scholarship Foundation a $50,000 gift – the second gift of this amount in the last two years – in addition to its commitment to work directly with high school students to help open their eyes to the possibilities of careers in the aerospace industry.
