GUNNISON, CO – Western State Colorado University is partnering with the Denver Scholarship Foundation to waive all tuition and fees for 25 high school students from Denver every year. United Launch Alliance is making college possible for Denver Students

United Launch Alliance (ULA) employees are helping Denver Public Schools students picture themselves as future rocket scientists, engineers, business managers and project managers who will launch future astronauts and satellites aboard the rockets of tomorrow.

Headquartered in Centennial, Colo., ULA is the nation’s premier rocket launching company. ULA employees volunteered their time today during a “speed mentoring” program at George Washington High School – just one of several planned events that are part of a partnership between ULA and the Denver Scholarship Foundation.

ULA recently gave the Denver Scholarship Foundation a $50,000 gift – the second gift of this amount in the last two years – in addition to its commitment to work directly with high school students to help open their eyes to the possibilities of careers in the aerospace industry.
