Denny-Stanford Scholarship for the Arts

In honor and celebration of Dorothy Denny's and Gully Stanford's many years of service to our community, and in particular to the arts and higher education, the Denver Scholarship Foundation has established the Denny-Stanford Scholarship for the Arts.  You can honor Gully and Dorothy today by giving to the Denny-Stanford Scholarship for the Arts. Click the button to donate online through ColoradoGives.org, and indicate that your gift is in honor of Dorothy and Gully.

It's easy to quantify the return on your investment in real estate or the stock market. But an investment in a student's education can't be measured. It's exponential. It strengthens our community. And it's easy to see what a difference it makes in the lives of each of our students.

Your gift can take the form of a one-time contribution or a monthly gift.

If you'd like to make a bigger impact, keep reading about additional opportunities to join our cause.

Scholar Circle Fund
+

Like you or many of your classmates from high school, the dream of going to college represented a journey to a new and different world. A place still unfamiliar to so many high school and families today, college remains the pathway to a life of new opportunities.

Imagine, then, having a network of support that starts in high school with admission and financialaid advising and continues with financial, academic, and social suppot through college graduation.

The Denver Scholarship Foundation is making college possible for thousands of DPS graduates. It starts in our 16 Future Centers in Denver Public Schools and continues with the promise of a scholarship at one of DSF’s 22 partner colleges across the state. With additional financial investment in students and a network of support, DSF’s partner colleges are also committed to DPS.

Sponsor a Future Center

Denver Scholarship Foundation operates Future Centers -- or college resource centers -- inside 16 Denver high schools. Each Future Center may be sponsored by businesses or organizations in the community. Sponsorships allow your organization to brand the Future Center inside the high school and on DSF materials. Combined with employee volunteer events inside your Future Center, the story of your organization’s support for the higher education goals of Denver’s students would make a compelling press release for the media.

For more information, contact Emily Schulman at eschulman@denverscholarship.org or 303.951.4155.
