DSF wants every college student to successfully complete a college degree or certificate. Below are some helpful resources and programs that are available at CU Denver.

• TRIO Student Support Services (SSS) – A supportive academic community working together towards academic excellence and achievement. TRIO SSS helps first generation, low-income students and students with disabilities reach their full potential and achieve academic success.
• Lynx Crew – This program provide mentoring services to support CU Denver undergraduate students in their first or second year at CU Denver.  Students are recruited to this program through weekly newsletters, EOP awareness events, and referrals.
• Summer Bridge Program – A program designed to allow Pre-Collegiate students who plan to attend CU Denver to get an early start by enrolling in courses, becoming acclimated with the campus and engaging with the community, as well as other activities. This program is at no cost to participating students. Students will receive college credits. Application deadline is Friday, April 6, 2018 at 5:00 p.m.
• CU Denver Scholars Program – The CU Denver Scholars Program is an early college enrollment program for college bound, high-achieving first generation students who enroll in college courses on campus during their senior year of high school. Students begin their college studies by taking one course at CU Denver during the fall and spring semesters of their senior year in high school. The credit earned in the course can be applied toward a bachelor’s degree at the institution the student will attend. While enrolled in the program, students participate in Saturday Academies. Workshops at these academies are designed to prepare students for college study and introduce them and their parents to the rigors of a college environment. Applications must be initiated through high school counselor.
• CU Denver Center for Identity and Inclusion – Provides services to support underrepresented students and to promote a diverse and inclusive campus for all students, faculty, and staff.
• Intercultural Engagement Certificate –  The Intercultural Engagement Certificate (IEC) program is designed to encourage student involvement in diversity workshop, cultural events, and other IEC certified gatherings. IEC represents an increase in cultural understanding that is an essential skill in our increasingly diverse, and global world. This certificate is an excellent way to get involved on campus, meet students from diverse backgrounds, and learn about other cultures.
• PAL Peer Advocate Leaders – The Peer Advocate Leaders (PAL) program promotes leadership for all students involved by matching undergraduate student leaders with first year students. The mentoring relationship is designed to foster student engagement and academic success by providing peer-level support that fosters student achievement, growth, and learning throughout students’ academic career at the University of Colorado Denver.​​​​​​​​​ Check the webpage for application deadlines and details. 
• CU DREAMers – CU DREAMers hopes to empower students to overcome adversity and appreciate adversity that is associated with being undocumented in the United States of America. We want to provide relevant experiences for students that will insure academic success, professional/personal growth, and social maturity.
• Undergraduate Pre-Health Program (UPP) – Students selected for this program are historically low-income and underrepresented in the health professions. Participants spend eight to twelve weeks working along side medical professionals and/or conducting research, and participating in workshops related to health disparities and cultural awareness. Participants in UPP also meet monthly throughout the academic year for Saturday Academy sessions on topics ranging from health disparities to professional development and leadership.
• University Honors and Leadership Program (UHL) – The UHL program offers exceptional, highly motivated students many of the benefits of a small liberal arts college along with the opportunities available at a major research university. Our small class sizes and the close relationships that can be formed with professors and fellow students provide a stimulating intellectual environment that nurtures excellence. The interdisciplinary UHL curriculum, taught by some of the University’s best faculty members, rewards intellectual curiosity, challenges you to expand your horizons, and promotes life-long learning. UHL also takes you beyond the classroom, through opportunities to engage in research projects side-by-side with CU Denver faculty, to study abroad with fellow UHL students, and to participate in leadership-development activities with like-minded students from other universities.​ Students who wish to apply for admission to the UHL program should submit their UHL application as early as practical during their senior year of high school. The UHL program uses a rolling admissions process, and the review of applications begins in December of each year. Applications received after February 15 will be reviewed on a space-available basis.
• Lynx Connect – Lynx Connect provides students with resources that enhance student experience, and life after graduation. Lynx Connect is home to peer advisors, career planning, internships and professional connections, job preparation services, and more!
• CU Denver Wellness Center – The CU Denver Wellness Center’s goal is to promote a culture of belonging,  through innovative spaces, programs, & experiences. The Wellness Center provides numerous opportunities to improve wellbeing for all students.
• First-Generation and Multicultural (FaM) Business Program – is a comprehensive program designed to help its students build social capital and career networks, gain meaningful exposure to careers of interest, and access resources and people that ultimately help them complete their degrees.
