Supporting students

We entered the current school year with an exciting and robust high school program to support the college dreams of DPS students.

• Full-time DSF college and financial aid advisors at 12 DPS High Schools
• An additional advisor serving DPS charter, magnet and alternative schools

• Outreach to 9th through 12th grade students and their parents at Montbello and West High Schools thanks to a $100,000 grant from TG. 

Achievements

In just a few short years, the facts demonstrate the truly transformative impact of our services and the promise of our scholarship:

• The number of DPS graduates enrolling in college has increased 52 percent since DSF's founding in 2006.
• Since the fall of 2007, we have awarded 1,658 scholarships totaling $5.2 million to help DPS graduates go to college in Colorado.
• Our Future Centers have helped 7,200 seniors earn $62 million in outside scholarships.
• About 75 percent of our scholars will be among the first generation in their family to graduate from college.
